Your True North
I came across two very similar quotes this week which made me pause this past week.
Don’t be pushed by your problems. Be led by your dreams. — Marcus Aurelius
Let your hopes, not your hurts, shape your future. — Marcus Aurelius
So often, in the ocean of life, we may feel like a ship without a rudder.
Our days are spent buttressing 10-foot waves, barely staying afloat.
Staying in the same place.
We sometimes forget that we have a choice in which direction we’d like to venture in.
We don’t have to be at the mercy of the wind and the waves.
By staying true to our purpose rather than our problems, we can find our sense of direction in the sea of life.
By staying true to our hopes and dreams, we can find our north and live our life guided by our unique and personal compass.
It’s only then that we can see our very own shore.
How are you steering your life?
What’s your true north?
I’m always here for you. Let me know how I can help!
P.S. You’re doing a great job!
Have a wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend!
